"so how do I submit my stuff to the Maplin site?"
It's easy! Just decide what you are going to submit and then follow the instructions below based on what you are sending to us.
Written Reviews:
Browse to the item you have purchased and want to review, click on the "Login and review this product" button found below the current Star Rating.
Log in (or create a new account if not already registered), rate the product on a scale of 1 to 5 based on the performance of the item, write your product review and then click the "submit" button
Please be aware that if you are reviewing an item bought in store you may be contacted further to confirm proof of purchase.
Images:
Images up to a maximum file size of 2 meg can be submitted in varying formats (ideally jpg, gif, png or psd but we can convert if necessary).
To submit images, just email us with the order code of the product your image is of/for and attach your file to the email.
If it is deemed appropriate for publication we will reply to your email confirming that it has been published (this process can take up to 3 days so please bear with us!).
Please try to be creative with your photo and send us something fun and imaginative. Simply sending us an image of the product sat on the side will not win you anything.
Videos:
To submit your video just email us with either a copy of your video (ideally in avi or wmv format but any can be submitted) or you can send us a link to your video on youtube.
As long as the video is deemed appropriate for publication it should shortly appear on the page for the product contained in your review (the proofing process may take up to 3 to 4 days before the video will appear live on the site).
Please try to send us interesting videos of you reviewing the product and/or demonstrating the product. We are looking for creativity and fun videos

It's as simple as that really, the submission of reviews or media to our website does require that customers understand and agree to the relevant terms and conditions.
